I am an associate professor in the Operations and Information Management Department at the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining UConn, I was on the faculty at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

View full CVI obtained my Ph.D. from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I also hold an M.Phil. from HKUST and a bachelor’s degree from Beijing Jiaotong University.
Before joining UConn, I taught executive-level and graduate courses at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. I have also held visiting appointments at Dartmouth College, Eindhoven University of Technology, the National University of Singapore, and Singapore Management University.
My work has appeared in Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Operations Research, Information Systems Research, Production and Operations Management, and Transportation Science.
I currently serve as an Associate Editor for Management Science and Service Science.
